December Happenings

I know its been forever since I last posted. December was busy, busy, busy with school, church, Christmas programs, Dennie's new job and of course Christmas it self. We have just been busy. Hopefully January won't be quite as busy. Any way here is a brief photo review of December I wasn't able to get pictures of Jonathan's band concert, Jared's school program or Rachel's school program, need a better camera to get good pictures.

Jared made his first snow cave of the year.

Rachel performing with her singing group

The Kids and I did a little project and made our reindeer family one for each of us I think they turned out pretty cute.

Jonathan and his school project on the Navajo Indians. It was great!

Sara and her Joy School group they had a little program at our home. Here they are singing Jingle bells.

The girls and their Christmas dresses.

Our Christmas Tree upstairs, sorry didn't get a picture of the tree down stairs, bummer.

Christmas Eve and the new PJ'S

Christmas morning, Sara didn't feel to well, so that is why she looks so sad.

Bow boys

Christmas day the kids just played with their gifts, Jard built his Lego ship, Jonathan played his new game and the girls used their art kits. It was a fun relaxing day I even got a nap and Dennie did dinner.

November

For some reason November gets skipped when taking picture, OK its true I take pictures of Rachel's birthday but really nothing else. It has always been that way and I don't know why. It makes the scrapbooks look strange cause there is very little of November and never any pictures of Thanksgiving. So here are a few of the things we did this month.

Jared trying to color the flag he made in the snow. He did a good job making it but it was huge and I couldn't get a really good picture of it.

Rachel and her turkey project for school.
The turkey barrettes I made don't think I will be making any more of these little beauties LOTS of work. I like the quick and easy ones.

Another project for Jonathan this time a Navajo Hogan

AHHH, the snow these were taken on Monday evening. We got a little more that night. The kids didn't have school on Monday, or Tuesday. So they had an extra LONG Thanksgiving vacation.

I love these next two pictures. This doesn't happen very often.
Jared was reading to his sisters, I love it.
Then later the same day Jonathan was playing a game and they were all glued to the computer, they didn't even know I was taking pictures.

Birthday Girl

Our Little Miss Rachel is 6!
She wanted pumpkin pie for her birthday instead of cake so that is what I fixed for her, no complaints from anyone else either they all LOVE pumpkin pie!

Then we did her nails. I found these press on nails after Halloween for 90% off. She was so excited she wanted to be just like Aunt Mandy and have nails put on. Her hands remind me of Mandy's hands too.
New birthday clothes. She ask me "Mom do I look a tiny bit bigger now that I am 6, I know I do." Why are they always so excited to grow up?
