3 years

I can hardly believe our baby is 3! She has "grown" up a lot this past year. She is not a baby any more that is for sure. She thinks she can do anything her big sister can do and sometimes even things her big brothers do. She is a real daddy's girl lately and wants to go everywhere he does. She has even been known to throw HUGE fits when he doesn't take her. She is a little helper and likes to help me with everything which is fun. She even likes to sit on my lap when I am scrap booking or sewing and she loves to help cook, do dishes and clean. I hope it will last. She is a sweetheart and we love her very much. 2010 Events

This year is going to be busy. I have been thinking about all the things that are going to take place this year. First off our baby will turn 3 next week, and she informs me daily that she is not a baby, she is a big girl. She will always be my baby, I don't argue with her, how can you reason with a 3 year old? Jared will be baptized this year. We will have a TEENAGER! Are we old enough to have a teenager? Rachel will start kindergarten, 3 out of 4 kids in school, I am not ready for that. She informed me tonight that she is going to kindergarten she wants to have a teacher and learn stuff. Glad we have most of the year to get prepared! It will be fun and busy getting 3 kids ready and outfitted for school. I guess I better start EARLY. Can you ever start too early? Why am I already thinking about school starting in the fall when its not even over? I guess I just wish it was over. This has been a TOUGH year hope it gets better and we can solve the problems SOON! Enough said! Am I frustrated? YES! Oh well we have things in the works to help solve the problem or at least figure out what all is going on. How in the world did I get off on that? Hope you have a good week-end.

Smile

Its been awhile not much going on up here. We have been staying busy working, going to school, and keeping WARM! I was able to get my scrapbook room organized and unpacked. It has been fun being able to go and scrapbook and then just leave it don't have to clean up, or pack it up its been great. We spent part of the weekend in Idaho Falls, my hubby had a funeral to go to so we went down on Thursday night (he has school and why come home only to go back down again on Friday). I was able to get a scrapbook page done on Friday for the calendar I am making with my mom and sister and the kids enjoyed playing with their cousins. It was a fun day. Friday night I went to New Moon, let me just say that it was better than the first movie. Saturday we did a little shopping and came home. Its fun to see family, but its sure nice to be HOME!

This morning Jared finally lost his tooth! Its been loose for about 4 months ever since he had his other one pulled. It was so bad on Wednesday night bleeding and oh just gross. He was getting ready for church and came up and showed me this,

Then this

It changes his smile. I think its too cute (what can I say I'm his mom) it sure is fun to watch him learn how to eat without his two front teeth. I was hoping he would loose it before Christmas I thought that would be to cute to do a scrapbook page (all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth) Oh well, maybe the girls.

This week brings work, school, winter sports (for Jared) and the usual housework, and laundry for me. It a good thing I love my life! I am happiest when taking care of my family! Have a good one! Melody

Ice

The weather here has been really cold to say the least, before that it was melting and the snow on the roof slides and then eventually will fall off, (so far it hasn't got any of us yet). It also has some incredible icicles Dennie calls them knife icicles, cause of the way they curve under. I just hope when they fall no one is under them.

January/Sledding Fun

Wow its January 8th already, can't believe how the time flies I must be getting old hahahaha. Sometimes my life feels like a big blurr. Why is that? The day after Christmas we took the kids sledding, it was a beautiful day lots of sunshine and the temp was just right. I can't believe how much Rachel loves it, I was for sure that she wouldn't like it last year but she surprised us and she loved it. Sara however wasn't too sure, the first run down was fine, but after that no way. I did get her to go down a little by herself and she was okay with that but for the most part she didn't want anything to do with it. The boys of course LOVE IT and can never get enough of it. We have been trying to go again, but haven't made it and now the weather is way too cold to go. Hopefully next weekend we can go again. Hopefully we get a little more snow too. Meanwhile we are enjoying our new place and love having lots of room. The last two days we haven't had school and its been so fun, the kids have enough room to play and do their own thing. Not that we don't have our little tiffs but not like before. Its been NICE! Hopefully I will be able to get the the rest of the house in order, only thing left is my room and the spare bedroom/craft/scrapbook room. Wish me luck. Jonathan first run down the hill

Christmas Pictures

Finally I am able to post Christmas pictures, December was a BLUR and especially the week of Christmas. It was very busy with Doctor appointments and we were unable to do any Christmas shopping until that week too, yes it was busy and a little nerve racking to say the least. As I look back on December, I wonder what my kids thought, hopefully everything that was going on didn't faze them too much and they had a good Christmas. Jared got up at about 1:30am Christmas morning, not too long after Santa had come, he was so cute, I had made pumpkin pie and he wanted to leave a slice for Santa and of course a glass of milk, with a little note, he is all about the details. Dennie wasn't able to get him to go back to sleep (way to excited) but he was able to get him to wait until about 4am that's when he came and got me up, so our day started WAY TO EARLY!!! In the past we have always had to wake the kids up so it was okay and this year new rules go into effect no one gets up until 7 am. We had a very enjoyable day and we even got a nap too.
