Halloween

I think we are settled in our home.  We have had a very busy 2 weeks its been crazy.  Halloween came and went, I wasn't as prepared as I would have like to be but I think the kids had fun anyway.  I really need to get some new items for the costume box.  Most of the items are for little ones that even Sara cant wear.   Jared just wanted his face painted, he was going to wear a cape, but it was made for Dennie so it is huge for him, the girls were fairy's but they couldn't wear their wings, Jonathan was a knight.

MOVED!

Yes we finally got moved!  UGH!!!  What a job!  Thanks to all of those who helped us couldn't have done it without you.  I am slowly getting things put away and settled how ever the plan is to only be here for 6 months.  Then we hope to find something more permanent but we shall see sometimes its nice to just rent.  But then again you never know when you have to move it can hit you out of the blue.  So far it hasn't been to bad,  except the washer drain doesn't work right and I have to turn it off and on when its draining so it doesn't run all over the floor not good, hopefully that will get fixed soon, other than that and a few little things we can deal with its good for now.  Lots more things to do hope to have some pictures here soon too.

Another Birthday Boy!

Jonathan's birthday was last Tuesday can't believe he is 14!! Where has the time gone?  He is getting so tall he will be taller than me I'm sure by spring if not before!  He is such a good kid.   He is kind and helpful loves to read, not much into teasing (one is enough) slow to anger (like his dad) loves to eat!  But then what teenage boy doesn't?  He is a sweetheart and we love him very much!

Sunday was a special day for Jonathan he was ordained a teacher in the Aaronic priesthood.   Grandma and Grandpa Hardin, and Grandma and Grandpa Lowe were able to come up and share the special day with Jonathan.  However I didn't get any pictures with the grandmas what was I thinking?    I love this picture, just wish I would have got one with the grandmas!

Life is going to get really really  crazy this week with moving, UGH!!!  I have put off  packing,  I keep hoping we won't have to move, but we do and its OK!  We knew that when we moved here so on to the next adventure!  Our new home is a lot smaller than this one, but thankfully we were able to find one that wasn't an arm and leg to rent, and we have a plan so when we move again in 6 months hopefully it will be a more permanent place for us.   Change is hard at least for me, but knowing that (its taken a long time to figure it out) I can prepare myself so I can help the kids make the change easier,  Oh what an adventure as my sweet hubby has said and so it starts.

Birthday Boy

Saturday was Jared's 9th birthday. I can't believe he is nine.  He wanted an eyeball cake so that's what we did.  I think it turned out pretty good.  He is such a funny boy, he likes to tease (or in his words torment) his sisters and everyone else too. He likes to try and scare mom when ever he can (yes he has got me a few times)  He is a big helper and likes to work.  He is a sweetheart and we love him!
