Bubbles and Night Games

Today I made bubble wands and homemade bubbles for the kids. They had so much fun blowing bubbles and let me tell you they were some BIG bubbles. I love the look on Sara's face in this first picture, she would get so excited.

I made Jared's wand bigger than the girls, I need to make his a little smaller and it would be better for getting bubbles all the time. Here is one of the bubbles he was able to make.

Who needs a wand? They also had fun using their hands to blow bubbles.

Sara the bubble blowing queen she played with this for over 45 minutes. Now I just have to keep making bubbles for them good thing its easy.

Jonathan had his friends over a couple of nights this week playing night games, oh how fun. It looks really dark in the pictures but it wasn't that dark. Fun times I tell ya nothing like having 10 boys running around the backyard in the dark playing hide-and-seek and ghost in the graveyard. They played dodge ball on the tramp first that's what the pictures are from I don't think they would have appreciated me taking pictures of them playing hide and seek.

A new bed and stitches

WOW another post this month I am on a roll!!! Dennie finished Rachel's bed today YEAH!! It looks so good. She is excited and the boys and Sara can't wait for theirs to be done. We went looking for logs yesterday and found several different ones that are going to be awesome. Dennie is already planning Jared's bed and getting ready to start it next week. While we were busy Jared went out to peel some of the bark off one of the logs we found for his bed. Pretty soon he came in and said "Mom I think you need to take me to the hospital, I cut my leg. Sure enough he had cut it deep enough so Dennie took him in and he got 3 stitches. He has been so good about it all and it hasn't slowed him down one bit. It really scared him, but he calmed down pretty quickly too. SO SO glad Dennie was home I am not too good with that kind of stuff.

July

WOW July is half gone. Where has the summer gone? We didn't do much of anything for the 4th of July, we did see the air show and went to the fireworks, but other than that just stayed home and chilled out. The kids waiting for the fireworks. Just gotta tell ya that it was the best show I have ever seen. The kids where in awe and didn't make a sound while watching them. Dennie had to work the next day so he wasn't able to be there with us. BUMMER. They had the fireworks show on Saturday.

So on Monday we went to the parade, Rachel was in it with her singing group.

Rachel in the parade

After the parade we decided to head out of town we went down to Blackfoot it was fun Thanks to Audrey and Evan for letting us "crash" their party. The kids had a blast.

The boys lighting fireworks

Four cute little girls watching fireworks at Auds house.

On Monday Dennie decided he was going to get Rachel's bed made, he has been "collecting logs" for a while now. He wants to make each of the girls one and one for us. The boys now want one too so with 4 more beds to make he has a lot to keep him busy.

Almost finished.

Sara has been wanting her hair cut for a couple of months now and I have just been putting it off and not sure if I wanted to cut it or not but on Saturday I cut it. I must not have done a good enough job because after I came back from a ride with Jared she had a new hair cut. She had taken the scissors to her bangs and the sides of her hair. I had to even up her bangs they were short but not too bad. On Monday Jared took the scissors to her bangs again. Poor girl. Just glad he didn't use the clippers on it (he got the scissors out of the clipper box which is at the top of the closet in the very back ugh how do they know where I hide things?) don't have a clue what or why he was doing that, the only thing I can think of is I told him not to cut her hair and I guess that put the idea in his head.

The back of Sara 's new hair cut I cut about 5 inches off or so.

After Jared "fixed her bangs"

Sure hope they grow fast.

Craft Day and Water Fun!

We made some stars for the 4th. It was fun to paint with shaving cream. Then we use straws to blow the paint on the other stars, the boys thought it was cool but they only did one star each guess they aren't really into crafts oh well it was fun anyway.

The kids had so much fun today playing in the tramp with the sprinkler under it. Yeah its was finally warm enough to get wet!
